We are a family business with 50 years of evolution, born by the seaside in northern Portugal.
Continuous research and development have always been part of our philosophy. In this way, together with our in-house teams and customers, we manage to remain at the forefront of the latest textile and clothing manufacturing innovations. We offer a customized system that vertically integrates all phases of the production process, ensuring a high level of quality in each phase.
We believe it is our responsibility to manage the environmental, social, economic, and corporate impacts of all our activities and in the communities in which we operate. That’s why we incorporate sustainability into our policies and daily operations.
In 1972, we founded Confetil–Confecções Têxteis, a knitwear manufacturing company. Sectorial growth in the 1980’s sparked significant expansion, and we set up our in-house production unit. In the 1990s, our textile agency and factory were merged, positioning us as a robust player in the global market. Our attention to precision and quality led us to found our Quality Control Laboratory.
The global pandemic raised societal recognition of our impact on the planet and the community. Fashion is now evolving from representing mere aesthetic expression to becoming a statement of transparency, technological innovation, and environmental, ethical, and social awareness. Our commitment to sustainability is structural—we seek to reduce long-term environmental and social impacts, while guaranteeing economic viability. Digital transformation streamlines processes, and the Textile Vertical Hub yields intelligence, efficiency, and competitiveness.
The ever-changing world presents new needs and challenges. We are critical, creative, and curious, driven by a desire to surpass ourselves in the pursuit of new technologies, materials, and processes that deliver solutions beyond the predictable.
Our commitment is clear: to monitor and reduce our environmental footprint, promote responsible production and consumption, and contribute to sustainable economic growth based on balanced working conditions, and fair and equitable communities.
